Privacy Policy
How we handle your data
Effective date: 7 August 2026 · Last updated: August 2026
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
ParsCloud is a company operating system for AI-era teams, headquartered in New Jersey, United States. We build software that helps organizations structure their operational knowledge, communicate, and automate workflows using AI.
When we say "ParsCloud," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean ParsCloud and its services. This single policy covers all three places your data can be processed:
- This website — parscloud.io, including our contact form.
- The ParsCloud platform — the workspace your organization runs, including Company Memory and workflows.
- The ParsCloud mobile app — the iOS app used to reach your workspace from a phone or tablet.
ParsCloud is an internal company communication and operations app. It lets a company's employees message each other, hold voice calls, share files, and track tasks. The app can only be used after it is connected to a company workspace using a QR code created by an administrator; there is no self sign-up. It is not a public social app: there are no public profiles, no friend-adding, and no advertising.
2. Information we collect
On this website, we collect information you provide directly to us:
- Contact information such as name, work email, and company name when you fill out our contact form or sign up for updates.
- Communication content when you reach out to us via email or through our platform.
We also collect certain information automatically when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs through standard web analytics tools.
In the platform and the mobile app, we process only the data needed for the service to work:
- Account information: your name and user ID within your workspace. These are created by your administrator; there is no self sign-up in the app.
- Content: the messages, direct messages, file and image attachments, polls, tasks, workflow configurations, and other content you send or create.
- Voice: when you join a voice channel or a call, audio is transmitted in real time. Audio is not recorded.
- Device and technical data: a device identifier to keep your session secure, a push notification token so we can deliver notifications, and session logs needed to operate the service.
The app does not collect location, contacts, health data, an advertising identifier, or similar sensitive data. There is no advertising network, no third-party analytics or tracking inside the app, and no user profiling.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect only to:
- Deliver messages, calls, files, and tasks within your workspace.
- Recognize you as the right person and keep your session secure.
- Send you message, mention, and call notifications.
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services.
- Provide, operate, and improve the ParsCloud platform.
- Send you product updates or information you have opted into.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Your data is not used for marketing without your consent, is not sold, and is not shared with advertisers. We do not use your data to train AI models without your organization's explicit consent.
4. Where your data is stored
All of your content and account data is stored on your employer's own server — the workspace owner's server. ParsCloud keeps each company's data in its own separate environment; data from different companies is never mixed. The app developer does not store or use your data for its own commercial purposes.
When you use ParsCloud to build Company Memory, the operational knowledge, workflows, and context you input belong to your organization. We process this data to deliver the service and do not use it for any purpose beyond providing and improving ParsCloud for your organization.
All company data is stored with encryption in transit, and at rest where the deployment provides it. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and systems.
5. Third-party services
Only the following infrastructure services are used, solely to deliver notifications and calls to your device:
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — to deliver call and message notifications (Apple Inc.).
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver notifications (Google LLC).
- LiveKit — to carry real-time voice, via your employer's server.
Only the minimum technical information needed to deliver a notification or a call is sent to these services, for example a push token and a short notification text. Your message history is not stored by them.
For the website and the hosted platform we additionally use a limited number of trusted providers, such as cloud infrastructure and web analytics. These services process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your information in accordance with this policy. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data sharing
Your data is not sold or rented to third parties. It is shared only with authorized people in the same workspace — for example the people you message and your administrators — and with the technical infrastructure services listed above, to the extent needed for the service to work. We may disclose data where required by law.
7. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors interact with our site. This includes session cookies necessary for the site to function, and analytics cookies that help us measure traffic and usage patterns. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.
The mobile app does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
8. Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account in the workspace is active. When you sign out on a device, that device's access and notification permissions are ended.
If you want your account or your data deleted entirely, contact your workspace administrator, who performs this on the server side. For data you have shared with us directly through this website, contact us at the address below and we will remove it within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
9. Security
All communication between the app and the server uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Session credentials are stored in the device's secure storage, such as the iOS Keychain. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. That said, no system is 100% secure.
10. Demo workspace
The app offers a one-tap demo workspace so that anyone — including app reviewers — can try ParsCloud without an invitation. The demo runs on a separate server and contains entirely fictional content: invented people, messages and numbers. No real customer data is present there, and demo content is deleted and rebuilt automatically every night.
11. Children's privacy
ParsCloud is intended for workplace use and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, contact your workspace administrator or reach us at the address below.
13. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. When we make material changes, we publish the current text on this page and update the effective date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
